Ukraine Still Needs Our Prayers

CFOI Regional Vice President for Europe is keeping in close contact with CFO leaders in Ukraine. She is planning a visit later this year, and continued CFO training is planned, even though a camp will not be held this summer because of the volatile situation there. But there is hope for peace coming. Here is part of a letter from Oksana in Ukraine:

“Right now it seems that conflicts are migrating to the South-East of Ukraine. Here, in Western Ukraine and in Kyiv everything is much more peaceful than it used to be. In Lviv everybody is preparing to celebrate Easter.

The Crimea has already became a part of Russian Federation. Some other parts of eastern Ukraine trying to separate in the same way. Actually it’s not a whole regions with the population, it’s some pro-Russian groups that are trying to collaborate with RF. But to say honest it doesn’t have such a strong feedback as it was two or even one month ago. We strongly believe that it is one of the last phase of warfare time.

The church does not support any kind of political movements or positions. Instead of that we have many common prayers among different churches and confessions. We are doing our best in day-to-day service to God and to people and keep to rely on our Father in every other thing.

Thank you for prayers and the words of encouragement.”

The CFO movement is deeply connected with prayer for true peace in our world, and living together in the Jesus way.  Please continue to pray with us for the peace of Jesus to reign in Ukraine.  And everywhere.
